Wang Dong is an Associate Professor at the International I Ching Research Center. He earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Osaka University, where his research investigated the intersection of the Zhouyi's image-number (xiangshu) system with ancient Chinese scientific thought.

Professor Wang's work has significantly advanced the understanding of how the Yijing's hexagram structures correlate with ancient Chinese astronomical models, calendrical cycles, and mathematical principles.
